AP Seminar students in Mrs. Quinn’s class completed their first presentations of the year. They researched real world problems, evaluated plausible solutions to these problems, and assessed the limitations and implications of the solutions!

Last week in 9th Grade World History, Ms. Sessions took Renaissance review to a whole new level! Students literally laid on the floor and channeled their inner Michelangelo as they recreated the experience of the painting of the Sistine Chapel—while answering their review questions in the form of drawings.

It may have looked a little unconventional, but there was definitely some serious learning happening! Students had to think creatively, recall key people, ideas, and events from the Renaissance, and bring their answers to life. Who says reviewing for a test has to be boring?!
