The Spanish Fork Cross Country Team competed at the Payson Night Hunt Invitational this past Friday, racing against 20 teams from across Utah.

The Boys Varsity Team took FIRST PLACE and brought home the Invitational Trophy! Leading the way were medalists Traeke Seitzinger (4th), Porter Zaugg (11th), Warren Johnson (12th), and Peter Woolston (13th). Other Varsity runners who competed for the team were Wade Parker, Riggden Seitzinger, and Seth Child.

The Girls Varsity team was led by Claire Ludlow, who finished 9th, and freshman Kristen Collett, who finished 18th. Both runners earned medals for their performances.

Our JV Boys also had a great showing, with Morgan Bradley and James Marshall earning medals as well.

A huge shoutout to our Boys Varsity Team and all of our runners for an awesome meet!

Our next meet is the UIAAA Invitational at Spanish Fork Sports Park next Saturday, August 29th, with races beginning at 7:30 a.m. Come out and support your fellow Dons as they compete alongside 74 other teams from across the state!

Congratulations to our Spanish Fork High School rodeo athletes!

Eight Dons represented SFHS at the National High School Finals Rodeo in Lincoln, Nebraska, July 19–25, competing against the best high school rodeo athletes in the nation. Check out some of their amazing accomplishments:

⭐ Ace Austin – National Champion in Steer Wrestling and National All-Around Champion
🥈 Burk Austin – Reserve National Champion in Steer Wrestling and Reserve All-Around Champion
🤝 Ace & Burk Austin – 4th Place, Team Roping (2nd Go-Round)
🏅 Tate Crandall – 5th Place, Team Roping (1st Go-Round)
🏅 Burk Austin – 4th Place, Tie-Down Roping (1st Go-Round)

Congratulations to Ace Austin, Burk Austin, Bella Bigler, Tate Crandall, Jhet Hanks, Landon Hanks, Hadlie Olsen, and Rachel Whitehead for representing Spanish Fork High School with pride at the national level. We are so proud of your hard work and outstanding achievements!

📸 Picture Day is Coming! Students will have their school pictures taken during Back to School Night on Monday, August 17, from 3:00–6:00 pm in the Auditorium.

All students are required to take a photo for their school ID and yearbook — purchasing is optional. Please remember to wear school-appropriate attire; no hats or sunglasses allowed. See you there!

Free and Reduced lunch applications are now open for the 26-27 school year!

Families can now apply using one of the following methods.

Use the LINQ app on your phone. Log into the app, scroll down and you will see "Free & Reduced Meal Application"
Go to LINQCONNECT.COM (http://linqconnect.com/), Click the "School Services" drop down menu and then choose "Free & Reduced Meal Application"
Remember, if families had a free or reduced eligibility last school year, they still need to apply. The eligibility does not carry over from year to year.
The CHILD NUTRITION WEBSITE (https://www.nebo.edu/page/child-nutrition)has useful information about our program, menus etc.
