Janet Olsen Piano Studio Janet Olsen Piano Studio is dedicated to the instruction of piano & theory at all levels.

Janet Olsen is a classically trained Canadian pianist, vocalist and pedagogue. Fluent in English and Spanish, she specializes in piano pedagogy, music theory and the teaching of students on the Autism Spectrum. She is a graduate of the Music Theatre program at the prestigious Etobicoke School of the arts and the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto; The Gorin Institute of Piano Pedagogy; and The

Ultimate Music Theory Program. Janet is an international speaker, presenting on the topics of music theory, teaching students with learning disabilities and mental and emotional health for teachers. She has been interviewed for shows in The USA, Canada and Australia and is an international best selling author for her contribution to the Power of Why series. Janet serves on the State board of the Utah Music Teachers Association, is a Royal Conservatory of Music Center Representative, and is an Ultimate Music Theory Elite Educator. She holds memberships in the Music Teachers National Association, Utah Music Teachers Association, American Guild of Organists, The Gorin Institute, Ultimate Music Theory and Piano Teaching Success. During her ‘free time’, Janet can be found sitting on a piano or organ bench, singing with Utah Millennial Choirs and Orchestras, practicing French with her two trilingual daughters, watching foreign films and spending time with her husband, Professor Daniel Olsen, their 4 children and the newest member of the family, Bella, a beautiful 8 month, 35 lb puppy!
