Another unexpected little sewing job, perhaps the Universe is trying to tell me something. Well it's been several years since I've taken on any alterations after having to close the business back during covid, but a close friend of my sister's had a family emergency and I was called into service 😯It is just a hem, and the other day my sister and I had told the friend how to pin it, and my brother in law made the measuring stick on a block for her to use to get the perfect pin line. They were going to sew it but that was before the emergency 😬 It's a stretch lace with a few sequins...so far so good 👍 Funny though, I still get nervous even after a lifetime of sewing 🧵🪡

I just received a message from Meta saying they were planning to remove my page for a post I made infringing on their rights. I pray it isn't true. I just wrote a letter to the address given to hopefully stop it. I would loose all my photos and information from many years of work 😭

Beaded ones are better inside, but I also have plain ones of jute and sisal that can be used to hang outside plants. PM me if interested 😊

Tiny harvest of the tips of a French tarragon I'm wintering over inside under lights 😊 I need to keep it low under the lights or it will get leggy and spindly before I can replant outside 🤷🏻‍♀️ It's challenging to start from seed and doesn't winter over at all. A wonderful herb for constipation 😜

A stark contrast to what I used to alter, this pile is a quick turn around for a friend's son going back to college on Saturday. Yes, there's a story 😂🙃
Fortunate that the machine accepts denim as it no longer works on delicate fabrics. It fell out of whack making three layer masks in 2020😬
I prepped these yesterday as soon as they arrived. The young man had a fashion request that they be cut shorter and cuffed mid calf, so after I hem them then I'll turn a cuff and tack it so the inseam is at the requested length.
Now...to find the right needle and thread for these... 🧵

The medlars were picked yesterday in Hadley, MA and gifted to me. A small crop of large sized medlars. I should have enough for at least one batch of medlar jam sometime in January 2023 as they must blet first outside in the tote in the cold until soft to the touch. Until later...
