To the mothers who nurture with love, patience, strength, and grace — today was for you. 🌷🤍
Our Montessori Schoolhouse Mother’s Day Tea was a beautiful reflection of Montessori education in action: purposeful work, creativity, care for others, independence, and community.
Each student thoughtfully prepared something special for their mother by hand.
Our Children’s House students created hand and footprint bouquet art, handwritten cards, and portrait flowers with so much love and intention. 🌼
Lower Elementary students handcrafted personalized teacups and created floral tea blends using jasmine, hibiscus, bougainvillea, sunflowers, and flowers gathered from our gardens. 🍵
Upper Elementary and Secondary students designed elegant keepsake boxes and gift bags, blended custom teas from the garden, and presented preserved butterflies in glass domes connected to an identification lesson from their Spanish studies — bringing together science, language, beauty, and artistry. 🦋
The students prepared the entire celebration themselves. Our younger children practiced practical life skills through table setting, serving, and welcoming guests, while older students arranged flowers, organized treats, prepared gifts, and thoughtfully pampered their mothers throughout the event.
This is Montessori:

More than anything, today reminded us that some of the most important lessons cannot be measured on paper — they are felt in moments like these.
To all of our incredible mothers: thank you for your endless love, warmth, sacrifices, and support. The love your children poured into today was a reflection of the love they receive from you every single day.
