Narrow Way is a church school located in Southside, Alabama. We believe that parents should have complete freedom of how, when, where, and what their children learn.
We accept families from all over the state, so we are set up to correspond electronically as much as possible. Of course, we accept walk-ins and are always happy to speak with you whenever you need us. Feel free to call, facetime, zoom, email, or use any other way that is easiest for you.
Our tuition is $125 a year for the family. We accept enrollment year-round. Our year runs from June 1st- May 31st. That gives you a full year to get 160 instructional days in. (Don’t worry, you can count field trips as instructional days.)
After tuition is paid, you will have access to all forms and information that we provide, at no additional charge. The only forms that require a payment is an official transcript after Graduation and an additional copy of your diploma. (These are $10 a piece plus postage.) Any form that you need to put a rush on will have a fee attached as well.
You are able to enroll and pay through our website. You will report grades and attendance twice a year through our website, and will have access to print ID cards, report cards, transcripts, etc.
Please understand that while we help you with teaching and learning styles, we do NOT provide curriculum. This is so you may teach what you choose to teach. This also addresses the issue of why homeschools (church schools) are not accredited. To be accredited we would have to provide the curriculum and direct how you teach it. That would negate the very reason we homeschool. We do have an in-depth curriculum guide on our website filled with curriculum choices. Of course you do not have to use any of these, they are just suggestions.
We have several families that choose to do all of their schooling on the computer and we have many suggestions for that as well.
