Team 870

Team 870 Southold High School FIRST Robotics Team 870 FIRST was founded in 1989 to inspire young people’s interest and participation in science and technology.

FIRST designs accessible, innovative programs that motivate participants to pursue education and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math. Through this, members build self-confidence, knowledge, and life skills. The mission of FIRST is to inspire young people to be leaders in science and technology, by engaging them in exciting, mentor-based programs. Our team’s goal is

to foster well rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership skills. Together we believe that we can impact society and create a platform that will embellish our tomorrow.
