📌👩‍💼 HOSA ILC Dress Code Reminders

Ensure you are prepared for the HOSA International Leadership Conference with these essential dress code policies for upcoming events and activities:

General Sessions & Stage Attire:
HOSA members may wear business casual footwear, including clean sneakers in good condition, throughout the conference. However, please remember that if you wear sneakers to the general sessions, they must be blue, black, or brown to be allowed to walk across the stage.

Official Functions:
The official uniform or appropriate business attire is required for all official functions. This policy applies to the HOSA Expo, workshops, and HOSA Universities, unless the specific program notes a special dress requirement like exercise or meditation.

Social Activities:
For dances and social activities, the dress code encompasses casual wear but explicitly EXCLUDES athletic clothing, swimwear, sheer or mesh clothing, tank tops, muscle shirts, crop tops, and clothing with obscene or suggestive printing. Additionally, shirt straps must be two inches wide, and all shorts and skirts must reach at least to the fingertip.

To ensure every delegate has a safe and incredible experience, we will have a Sensory Friendly Quiet Room as a dedicated, low-stimulation space to pause, reset, and recharge.

Please note that our General Sessions will feature high-stimulation elements, including loud music, strobing lights, and smoke mist. If you have asthma or sensitivities to these sensory inputs, we highly recommend choosing a seat further away from the main stage, or utilizing the quiet room whenever you need a break.
