The Novus Academy Novus is an innovative K-12 school serving students who struggle in the traditional school setting.

The Novus Academy, located in Grapevine, Texas, is a creative, supportive, and inspirational K-12 school designed primarily for students with learning differences, and/or other types of challenges such as bullying or "giftedness". The Novus Academy accepts students who are struggling in traditional classrooms. The Novus Academy serves the entire DFW Metroplex and surrounding communities by providing innovative, stimulating, and experiential educational programming within a culture that inspires confidence, respect, and self-worth. All students have individual needs, strengths, desires, and gifts. The Novus Academy accomplishes more than teaching students to succeed in the classroom. We also focus on educating the “whole child” and building strategies that will allow them to lead productive lives and become contributing members of the global community. We pride ourselves as being THE school in the Metroplex that offers HOPE and creates positive growth and change in the lives of our students and their families. All students deserve – and we provide – a healthy and empowering academic, social, and emotional learning environment!

🚨 FREE DRESS PASS ALERT 🚨

Your student can earn a free dress pass — and help their class win a pizza party — just by sharing their own North Texas Giving Day fundraiser page. Here's how, start to finish:

1️⃣ Go to northtexasgivingday.org/organization/TheNovusAcademy and tap FUNDRAISE. (This automatically links your student's page to Novus.)

2️⃣ Sign in, or create an account with your email and password.

3️⃣ Click Get Started, then Launch Page Manager.

4️⃣ Fill out the fields: title, summary, goal, and story. Add a photo of your student. Set the duration to Sept. 17, 2026, and leave "Use of Funds" blank.

5️⃣ Publish, then share the link by text, email, and social media — and tag us The Novus Academy so we can count your participation!

Not sure what to write? The Parent Toolkit that came home via email has title, summary, and story examples you can copy word for word.

Our student SOAR at Novus ✈️🛩

The Novus Academy is a K–12 school in Southlake built for neurodivergent learners and kids who struggle in a traditional classroom. Small classes. Plans built one student at a time.

A locker display that just says "YET" — because not there yet is a very different thing from not getting there.

Early giving for North Texas Giving Day is open right now through Sept 16, and the big day is Thursday, Sept 17, 6am–midnight.

Communities Foundation of Texas covers the fees, so 100% of what you give lands at the school.

Help us reach our 100,000 dollar goal!

We asked our students what they can do at Novus. 🎤

Turn the sound on — they said it better than we could. 🥰

Help us continue to create an environment where all our students believe they CAN.

Early giving is open now, and Sept 17 is the big day. Search "The Novus Academy" at NorthTexasGivingDay.org.

100% goes to the school.
