Our first Florence Elementary Sock Hop was the bee’s knees — poodle skirts, slicked-back hair, and dance moves for days! 💃🕺

And that’s a wrap on the 2025-2026 PTA Spirit Stores! We had a blast getting to do this with our students and not only let them have fun + special days — but also teach them how to budget, count money, and help them learn to make change. 💰

A huge shout-out and special thanks to PTA’s Student Spirit Chair, Pam Reding, for all her hard work with the Spirit Store (and spirit wear!) this school year. We appreciate you!

Thank you, as well, to each and every parent volunteer who helped work a shift at each Spirit Store event this year. This couldn’t be done without you and we are so grateful.

When our teachers need us, we show up! 💪

Our 4th grade teachers asked for snacks (including gluten-free options) for their students to celebrate Leadership Day, MAP Growth Day, and popsicles for an extra long recess — all this month.

In less than 48 hours, our President (and 4th grade mom), Nicole Seidel, hopped in her car on this rainy day and personally shopped for these items, of which all 4th grade room moms split the cost for on behalf of our kiddos.

Those same 4th grade teachers received a myriad of goodies today from the $200 Amazon gift our PTA gave each teacher at FES.

We had a wonderful time at the Keller Council of PTAs annual Brag Luncheon this afternoon!

FES PTA was awarded the Head Start Award (a membership honor awarded to local PTAs that recruit at least 75% of their previous year's total membership by Aug. 31) and the Golden Apple Award (given to PTAs that recruit 100% of their school’s faculty as members).

Special thanks to FES PTA’s Historian, Sara Allen, for decorating our adorable “Team FES” table!

Keller ISD’s Back-to-School Bash is coming up on July 16, and it’s a great way to get ready for the new school year, all in one place.

From free school supplies and backpacks to health screenings, registration help, and community resources, this event is designed to support KISD students and families as we head into the 2026-2027 school year.
