🥋 A HUGE congratulations to Quinn and Graham who were able to spin our Ticket Tornado prize with nearly 100 tickets! 🎉 What an awesome accomplishment!

We also want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to all of our incredible parents. Your support, encouragement, and involvement mean more to us than you know.

One of the greatest ways you can help our school continue to grow is simply by sharing what we do with the people you know. ❤️ Whether that’s telling a friend, sharing a post, inviting a family to class, or simply talking about your experience with us, your word-of-mouth makes a tremendous difference.

Mrs. Reed and I feel incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to share our God-given love and passion for helping kids grow into confident, respectful leaders with the amazing Southlake community. Leadership Is More Than Earning a Belt.

At Southlake ATA, we believe the most important things our students learn aren't just how to kick, punch, or earn their next belt—they're the life skills that help them become confident, respectful, responsible leaders.

Our Leadership Program takes those lessons a step further.

Students don't just hear about concepts like respect, confidence, discipline, responsibility, perseverance, and leadership. We take deeper dives into what these qualities actually look like in everyday life and, most importantly, how to put them into action.

We teach our students how to:
• Lead themselves before trying to lead others
• Make good decisions even when no one is watching
• Communicate with confidence and respect
• Take responsibility for their actions
• Handle challenges without giving up
• Become positive examples for the people around them

Because leadership isn't about being the loudest person in the room or being in charge.

Leadership is learning to control yourself, make good choices, serve others, and have the confidence to do what is right.

And we've seen firsthand how powerful this can be for our students. As they develop these skills, we watch their confidence grow, their maturity develop, and their ability to step up and lead begin to shine.

For the rest of this month, we're offering discounted enrollment into our Leadership Program for families who want to take advantage of this opportunity.

The ATA World Championship has come to an end but the team is home, re-energized to share some knowledge, & to get back to WORK! 💪🏼 Here’s a quick recap of some of the fun watching the International Team Sparring Tournament, Tournament of Champions where we find the best of the best, & the start to the new season, Super 20!

The team showed up, did their best, brought home some medals and a new insight on their future training. Having a purpose behind what we do is how we create habits, understanding, and tangible results.

The Texas Twister is coming up in just a short few weeks, August 14th & 15th and our team would LOVE for you to join us. Thank you for everyone, we hope you enjoyed your week off, and we hope you’re ready to get back to it! See you on the mat!

Independence looks good on a kid. 🥋

The one who walks in without a parent hovering. The one who tries the thing before they're sure. The one who chooses not to cry when they get hurt or scared. The one that knows it's okay to fail before asking for help. Leaders are made from mistakes, trail & error, and resilience.
