Stay aware of the weather today in Southlake. Stay safe while traveling home from work.
We want to make sure you know a couple of things related to today’s forecasted severe weather. First, forecasts from the National Weather service are predicting that Southlake will be impacted between 5 and 9 p.m. The main threat with this storm is large hail; however, there is also the potential for tornadoes through the early morning. Second, out of an abundance of caution, the City of Southlake will be closing all offices, the Library and Champions Club at 4 p.m. today. This closure will not affect emergency services. In addition to the facility closures, all City meetings and recreational activities are canceled as well. Stay weather aware today and also be sure to follow Southlake DPS here on Facebook and Twitter for any weather-related updates. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Stay safe!
