💚🐉 It was a JES kind of night at the CISD Board Meeting! 🐉💚
Tonight, some of our outstanding 4th graders had the opportunity to share what being a Johnson Dragon means to them! These students wrote their own words about JES, and together, we turned them into a special “I Am a JES Dragon” poem that they proudly recited for our Board of Trustees. They were confident, courageous, and such wonderful representatives of our school. We could not be more proud! 💚
We also had the privilege of celebrating our SUPER Substitute, Lori Heil! 🌟 Lori is so much more than a substitute at JES — she is a trusted teammate, an incredible teacher, and someone our students absolutely adore. She is dependable, kind, has impeccable classroom management, and consistently goes above and beyond for our Dragons. Whether she is stepping into a classroom for a day, filling a long-term position, or volunteering HOURS of her own time, Lori’s answer is always the same: “It’s all for the kids.” 🥹💚
