1st Day of Training, planning, learning & team building(drawing houses, car & tree without touching the marker, all controlled by the string) is in the books!
We had a great 1st day, lots of learning, laughing, chatting & building as we prepare for your children to walk through the doors next week❤️
We were treated to Dutch Brothers drinks & breakfast from Einstein Bagels.
On to Day 2 tomorrow 🙂🙂

❤️I have 10 grandchildren that I’m completely in LOVE with & Obsessed with!! Liam-13, Nash-11, Jose-9, Summer-9, Zoe-7, Luka-4, Natália-3, Luna-3, Camila-2 & brand new Constantine aka Costa, 2 months old. My grandma name is “ ITA” short for Abuelita(grandma in Spanish)
I’m momma to Jewel, Chloè, Joe & Cara❤️
🎶I LOVE going to concerts, Live shows, big & small— I’m a repeat ACL music festival attendee-10 plus years.
👩🏻‍🍳I’m a big baker & cook, I bake for almost all the birthdays at TPP

Tìa Jenna(Aunt in Spanish) or just Tìa,
Guera, Chula, Mija (those mostly by aunts & uncles & cousins )

Why do I work with Children-
I work with children because I absolutely LOVE it, LOVE them, love their parents & families… they become MY family. I love helping them feel secure & happy. I love helping parents feel happy & secure leaving their precious babies w us. I love that I am able to create a bond w them & their families that years later I get to see them grow up, graduate, get married. It’s part of the story GOD has given me to my story.
I LOVE to share the LOVE of JESUS,give them that LOVE. It is a TRUE Ministry to me🩷

I love seeing the world through their eyes and helping to lay a positive, healthy foundation for their education!

I LOVE TO TRAVEL AND EXPERIENCE NEW CULTURES.
I even studied abroad in the Dominican Republic and student taught in an elementary school.

Random Fact-

I AM A HUGE HAMILTON FAN!
I got to see the broadway musical when they came to DFW. It was one of my favorite experiences!

Why I work with Children-

TEACHING CHILDREN
BRINGS ME SO MUCH JOY.
I taught 3rd grade for 7 years prior to staying home with my three children!
My goal is to always instill a love for school and that learning is fun! I love helping students problem solve and the smile on their face during the "ah ha!" moments. Im so grateful for what they teach me everyday and the memories that last a lifetime.

Fun Fact

I absolutely love animals! I had the opportunity to rescue, rehabilitate, and raise an opossum named Mavis. She became a cherished part of our family for 3½ years. I also have several raccoons that visit our house every night, and my favorite visitors are the mama raccoons when they bring their babies along.

Random Fact

My real name is Joy. I was named after my great-aunt Joy, whom I loved and adored. My parents nicknamed me Dede when I was a little girl, and that’s what everyone has called me ever since.

Why I Teach Children

I teach children because they are some of the sweetest little people on earth. My goal is to make each child’s preschool experience joyful, meaningful, and full of fun by creating a loving and engaging learning environment.

I hope every child who walks into my classroom knows how deeply they are loved by me, but even more importantly, how much Jesus loves them. If they leave my classroom knowing that, then I know I’ve done my job.

I’m all about my 2 boys and watching baseball. My oldest son is fixing to go to OSU. My youngest son will be a junior in HS and just won his first HS state baseball
championship this past June.

I am a Texas transplant and mums are a weird tradition!

I love watching them learn and just knowing that I’m a part of it is amazing!

In my free time, you'll often find me riding my new purple e-bike 💜🚲 around the neighborhood. I can relax, enjoy the outdoors, and explore my community.

Why I work with Children:
I love inspiring a lifelong love of learning. 🍎📚 Every day, I have the privilege of witnessing exciting "aha!" moments as children discover new skills, build confidence, and grow in a safe, creative, and joyful environment. Helping students reach new milestones is very rewarding.
