Fun Fact:
An intriguing fact about boxing is the origin of the term "ring" to describe the fighting area. Although modern boxing fights take place in a square space bordered by ropes, the term "ring" comes from the earlier days of the sport when a roughly drawn circle on the ground defined the area in which boxers fought.
This circular boundary was where spectators gathered to watch, forming a ring around the fighters.
The name ring continued with the London Prize Ring Rules in 1743, which specified a small circle in the centre of the fight area where the boxers met at the start of each round. -Boxing Basement.

Boxing was actually a part of the ancient Olympic Games from 688 BC, making it one of the oldest sports in the world. Originally, the Greeks fought with strips of leather wrapped around their hands for protection and to increase the impact of their punches. This tradition has evolved significantly over the centuries into the highly regulated sport we know today, with protective gloves and strict rules to ensure the safety of the fighters.

God's people are servants of God who are in a spiritual battle. The closer the walk the greater the attacks. It should not surprise us that we are in a face to face battle with the enemies of God. We may not wish to find ourselves in this position but God trains His people for battle. He gives us weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left. David played the harp despite his battles, it’s all in the rhythm of He who trains his hands to war and fingers to battle.

Psalms (144:1-2) NIV
