To the Simsbury High School Class of 2026…

In August 2022 when you embarked on your new high school career, I also embarked on my first day at Simsbury High School.

When we met in Baking and Pastry Arts or Smart Cooking, I knew there was something special about you…you had HEART. You had a sense of community and togetherness that was something extraordinary.

During the 3 years that we were together, I had the privilege of watching you grow and mature into some really incredible human beings I’m proud to call my students. And although I moved on, I have been cheering you on from the sidelines and I am so super proud of each and every one of you.

Please remember that life…just like baking, is a journey, not a race (one of the most profound things Charlie has ever said). Don’t set timelines on your life…Always be your AUTHENTIC self and don’t let others dim the bright light inside of you.

Thank you ALL for being part of my story and giving me some of the best memories of Simsbury High School.

You always have a space in the Gurga Palace.

Class of 2026... where do I even begin? ❤️

You challenged me, made me laugh until I cried, and yes... sometimes made me want to pull my hair out. 😂 But through every lesson, every conversation, every success, and every setback, we grew together.

Watching you become the incredible young adults you are today has been one of the greatest privileges of my career. I hope you leave knowing that you are capable, resilient, and worthy of every dream you’re chasing.

You are loved far more than you’ll ever realize, and I will always be one of the people cheering you on from the sidelines with my hype button 💙🤍
