🎃👻 A Little Puppet Show with a BIG Message!

Today, our class enjoyed a short and sweet Halloween puppet show filled with giggles, smiles, and an important lesson!

Our little skit reminded the children how important it is to stay close to Mommy, Daddy, or a trusted grown-up while trick-or-treating and NEVER run across the street!

The little ones laughed and had a wonderful time! 🥰

This morning we practiced blowing on our pinwheels. And we played duck duck goose.

Blowing pinwheels encourages breath control, oral-motor development, focus, and cause-and-effect learning, while Duck, Duck, Goose helps children practice listening, following directions, turn-taking, gross motor skills, social interaction, and self-control. 💕

At Snacktime To Showtime, we know that some of the most meaningful learning happens when children are moving, exploring, interacting, and laughing together. 🥰

They may think they’re just playing… but we know they’re learning every step of the way!

At just 7 months old, our little learner is captivated by the lights, sounds, and music of sensory play! 🥰 Every reach, touch, and excited reaction is part of an important learning experience.

Interactive sensory toys encourage babies to practice hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, visual tracking, listening, focus, and cause-and-effect learning…”When I touch this, something happens!”🎵

And while sitting and exploring, baby Malakai is also strengthening those important core and postural muscles needed for future movement and development. 💕

🎶Building Language Through Music & Voice! 🎤✨

When our Director leads our toddlers and preschoolers in voice activities, they’re doing so much more than singing, they’re building the foundations for language! 💛

Songs, vocal exercises, repetition, and rhythm encourage children to listen carefully, imitate sounds, practice new words, hear the different sounds within words, and become more comfortable using their voices. 🎵

As children sing and repeat words and phrases, they’re also developing vocabulary, pronunciation, listening and memory skills, verbal expression, and the confidence to communicate with others.

For our youngest learners especially, music gives them a playful way to experiment with sounds before they can always express themselves in complete sentences.

So when you hear our little ones singing, making sounds, and giggling along, remember those little voices are busy learning how to communicate! 🥰🎶

Music gives children a voice…and we love helping them discover it. 💕 It’s showtime!
