As I sit down to write this, my heart is full of bittersweet emotions. Today, I’m saying goodbye to a dream that became a beautiful reality – owning my own child care center. Being around kids has been an incredible journey, and it allowed me to embrace my role as a stay-at-home mom for my two beautiful girls.
This opportunity provided me with the flexibility to attend every field trip, volunteer for countless activities at school, and be there for my girls when they needed me the most. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside empowering women and caring families, creating a nurturing environment for our little ones.
It’s hard to believe that the babies we first welcomed are now starting middle school. Time truly flies! I will forever be grateful for the amazing staff and families that made our small, home-like childcare center so special.
The impact of COVID-19 changed many of our lives, and while some centers had to close their doors, we were fortunate to provide a safe haven for our families. As I close this chapter, my focus will shift to my family and our location on west st.
