ATTENTION, BUSINESS OWNERS:
1,174 people voted in my poll on Threads yesterday—and yes, this is a real poll, and the numbers were not manipulated in any way. The poll was available publicly for 24 hours, and although it’s closed now, it’s still pinned to my Threads page if you want to check it out.
If you use AI art to advertise your business, you WILL lose business because of it. The people have spoken, and they DO NOT want to purchase from someone who uses AI “art”.
And for the “but what if I have no artistic ability” crowd—the people would rather you literally draw something yourself—even if it’s bad!—over generating an AI image.
Or you can do it the old-fashioned way and actually PAY AN ARTIST to make it for you. WILD concept, I know. Almost as though the service they provide is valuable… 🤪
P.S., because I know at least ONE person will claim my pfp is AI—it isn’t. I commissioned a living, breathing artist to draw it with their actual, real hands several YEARS ago.
