Field day is almost here!
If you would like to/are able to donate water bottles to our student athlete volunteers who will be helping to run field day, our students who are participating and our volunteers, please drop them off in the vestibule at Fordline.
With the end of the school year just around the corner, we would like to take a moment to extend thanks to the 2022/2023 Fordline PTO Board. We would like to wish Julia Frazier, the 2022/2023 Treasurer the best of luck as she moves on to the middle school and Tara Secco the best of luck as she moves on to her new position as 5th Grade Chairperson.
We would also like to welcome Stephanie Stanley, the 2023/2024 Treasurer, and Abby Kerr, the 2023/2024 Secretary to the Fordline PTO Board. Stephanie and Abby will be joining Rob Secco (VP) and Calli LaBeau (President), as well as Ms. Dally (Staff Representative), Mr. Massengill (Staff Representative), and Mrs. Monsour (Principal) to serve the Fordline students, staff and family for the 2023/2024 school year.
In addition, we would like to extend our thanks to the Southgate Hungry Howie's location for allowing us to hold monthly dining fundraisers and rewarding our students with pizza parties and Southgate Nutrition for helping with Staff Appreciation Week. We would also like to give a special shoutout to Mrs. Swauger for taking on the role of 5th Grade Chairperson for the 2022/2023 school year.
Lastly, thank you to everyone who volunteered at events throughout the year - things like Holiday Shop, Trunk or Treat and Field Day could NOT happen without you! And thank you to all who supported our students with donations and fundraisers and/or attended meetings to plan events, outings, and overall fun for our Fordline Family!

FORDLINE PTO has decided to hold a Read-a-thon this year!
Read-a-thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more.
Our Read-a-thon starts Monday May 1, 2023.
Next week, before our Read-a-thon starts we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress. However, you can set it up today by clicking on https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/Nsvcgb/1 and following the simple instructions.
We've chosen Read-a-thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills.
We hope EVERYONE participates.
Thanks so much,
FORDLINE PTO

Did you know that on average, the PTO earns roughly $1000 from the Hungry Howie's pizza nights annually? $1000 could provide $250 field trip transportation for 4 field trips!
Have you ever wondered where the PTO funds go? They go to things like field trip transportation, treats for students, musical instruments, family fun nights, and much more! Have a fundraiser idea? Join us at a monthly meeting or send us a Facebook message; we'd love to hear from you!
