Upcoming trips & tours! We have 2 trips coming up, the first on May 19th to Ann Arbor (tour at U of M, Gandy Dancer Restaurant and Creature Conservancy)!
And on August 4th, we go to Port Huron for a voyage on the Huron Lady II (touring the Blue Water Area), lunch at The Voyageur, and a stop at the Sweet Tooth of Marine City.

Spring and Summer Mini trips are new for Southgate Community Education! Our first trip is on May 19th when we start off our day at U of M Ann Arbor's "Big House" where we will tour the field, locker room, press box, club & suites. From there we head to lunch at the Gandy Dancer Restaurant, which is the beautifully restored 1886 Michigan Central Depot. We wrap up our day in Ann Arbor at the Creature Conservancy which houses more than 400 individual animals from 100 different species. We will travel on a deluxe motor coach departing our school at 7:15am, returning at 3:15pm. Cost is $155/person and includes lunch and transportation.

Start date change! Our new sessions of Pickleball will start on Thursday, April 16, 2026 (instead of April 9th). Come and join us for this popular and fun game! New Testament History class starting tomorrow (February 12, 2026)! Our Historical background of the Bible class is an 8 week in-depth course about the history of the times lived in by Jesus. This is not a bible study, but rather a historical look at the events during that time in history.

Interested in learning Italian? It's not too late! Our virtual beginning Italian class starts tomorrow (Feb. 3, 2026) from 5:30pm- 7pm.
