🚚💙 Book of the Month: El camioncito azul 💙🚚

This month at Bridge Academy Cincinnati, our young learners are exploring El camioncito azul through our interactive Circuit Learning Model!

Children rotate through engaging learning stations designed to help them understand and use Spanish naturally:

📖 Cuento y conversación: We read, observe, listen, and answer questions.

🖼️ Vocabulario visual: We learn the characters, animals, vehicles, and places from the story.

📍 Posiciones y movimiento: We practice words such as arriba, abajo, delante, detrás, dentro and fuera.

✋ Exploración sensorial: Children search, discover, name, and classify objects related to the book.

🚚 Juego del camioncito: We follow Spanish instructions while moving the little truck along the road.

Through stories, movement, sensory play, and conversation, children build vocabulary while learning in a meaningful and joyful way.

Sometimes we don’t realize how far we’ve come until we stop and look back.
I’m incredibly honored to be featured in Bold Journey Magazine, where I had the opportunity to share my story—from growing up in Bolivia, to building a new life in the United States, earning my Master’s in Education, overcoming a significant health challenge, and following my dream of founding Bridge Academy Cincinnati.

This interview isn’t just about me. It’s about the people who believed in me, encouraged me, and reminded me that every challenge can become an opportunity to grow.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to my mother, Cecilia León, who dedicated her life to the success and happiness of her children. Her love, sacrifices, and unwavering belief in us have been the foundation of everything I have accomplished.

To my family in Bolivia, thank you for always cheering me on, no matter the distance. Your love has always been with me.

To my wonderful mother-in-law, Donna Purcell, thank you for being my greatest source of support during one of the most difficult seasons of my life. Your kindness, encouragement, and constant presence during my illness meant more to me than words can express.
