Carnival was a huge success! Thank you so much to our PTO for going above and beyond with the face paint and game truck! And thank you to all of our parent volunteers and teachers!

Part 1!

So proud of our Run Club that showed up almost the whole year at 7:30 every single Friday to work hard, and gain strengthening skills!!! Thank you so much to Ms. Fugaban as well for supporting them, and showing up too!!!

In Mrs. Oswald's Sharing the Planet unit, we explored the lines of inquiry: Why are plants needed for our survival? How do plants grow and produce resources we need? How does growing our own food help improve the quality of our community? and How does taking care of the Earth affect us—and what could happen if we don’t?
To celebrate our learning, we harvested some of the herbs and vegetables we grew in our classroom garden and used them to make homemade pizza sauce for mini bagel pizzas! While our tomatoes weren't quite ready, we used tomatoes still on the vine so students could continue making connections to how food grows and where it comes from.
This hands-on experience helped students see firsthand how plants provide resources we use every day, how growing food can bring people together, and why caring for the Earth matters.

A small group of our kiddos got to enjoy a special silent disco for all of their hard work this year!!! So proud of you!!!

Ms. Worley’s class created math board games that focused on a specific math concept they learned this year. Students worked in small groups to plan questions cards, create a game board and instructions in order for their classmates to play the game!

Congratulations to our very last Learner Profile Trait celebration winners for the month of June!!! You were reflective throughout the year and grew so much!!!
