WOW... we are still overwhelmed by the love and generosity you showed our dancers! 🥹✨

Because of **YOU**, our Dance-A-Thon, Car Wash, and Bake Sale fundraiser was an incredible success, raising **over $2,000** to help send our Competition Team to the **Empire Dance Challenge National Championships** in **Niagara Falls, New York!** 🏆🗽💃

This was our **final fundraising push**, and with such little notice, we had no idea what to expect. What happened instead was nothing short of AMAZING! Our community came together in the most beautiful way, reminding us that Legacy is so much more than a dance studio... we are FAMILY. ❤️

Before it became , it was called Decoration Day.

After the Civil War, formerly enslaved Black Americans helped lead some of the earliest memorial observances honoring Union soldiers who died fighting for freedom — decorating graves with flowers, marching in remembrance, and refusing to let those sacrifices be forgotten.

Robert Ford from stands as a reminder of the young Black soldiers whose courage, service, and sacrifice became part of that legacy.

Today, that tradition lives on as Memorial Day. And on this day, we remember them all.
