We had visitors in our lab today filming the use of the Portable Parellel bars by Wareologie.
These bars can we used for early mobilization in the intensive care units so as to not delay strengthening. We are proud to partner with this company 💙

Your clinical reasoning changes lives - triage in the field to Ascension

Paramedic Jamie Randall and EMT Cameron Smith responded to a 911 call in Eastpointe where a patient was suffering from pain and pressure in their chest. Upon arrival, this crew determined the patient was experiencing a STEMI (a serious cardiac condition).

Jamie and Cameron’s quick clinical assessment, treatment, and transport were critical components in saving the patient's life. Based on their assessment, treatment, and communication with the hospital, the patient received a cardiac catheterization in less than 80 minutes after arriving at the hospital.
