Franklin Academy has a commitment to providing the best early educational experiences for all children. The school offers a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate program. Total development of the child (physical, social-emotional, and cognitive) is stressed throughout the program. We recognize that each child is unique, with individual growth patterns and learning styles. The play-based curriculum at Franklin Academy, therefore, provides a variety of experiences and enrichment classes including music, drama, science, computers, art, literacy/library, geography, sign language, and Spanish for each child to participate in and progress at his/her individual developmental level. We have created a flexible program within a certain structure and it is in this rich stimulating environment that children are encouraged to explore and experiment. Additionally, through our exceptional physical enrichment classes, children will learn the importance of staying fit and healthy by participating in daily exercise such as yoga, tennis, dance, sports classes, and swimming. It is our goal to help each child leave Franklin Academy with a healthy mind and body, good self-image, and an ability to take the next step in his/her educational life with enthusiasm and confidence.

This week we are excited to feature Ms. Eva, the Lead Teacher in our 12–18 month old classroom at Franklin Academy. Ms. Eva has been a valued member of the Franklin Academy family for three years and brings with her an incredible 25 years of experience caring for young children.

She holds her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and is passionate about creating a warm, nurturing environment where our youngest learners can feel safe, supported, and loved as they grow and explore.

When she’s not in the classroom, Ms. Eva enjoys spending her weekends with her family and her grandkids, cherishing quality time and making special memories together.

We are so grateful for the dedication, experience, and heart Ms. Eva brings to our school community each day! 💛

🌟 Teacher Feature: Ms. Ashley! 🌟

This week we’re excited to highlight Ms. Ashley, a dedicated lead teacher in the Cricket room, who has been part of the Franklin Academy family for almost 4 years.

Ms. Ashley brings valuable experience working with children of all backgrounds, utilizing her bachelor’s degree in psychology and family studies to support each child’s growth and development. She is also a proud Franklin Academy parent, with both of her children attending the academy.

Dedicated to continuous learning, Ms. Ashley plans to remain active in the field of early childhood education and is always eager to bring creative ideas into the classroom. Her warm presence and positive energy bring smiles to the faces of the children she works with every day.

When she’s not in the classroom, Ms. Ashley enjoys spending time with family and friends, caring for her two pet geckos, cooking new recipes, watching movies and sports, and relaxing on the weekends.

We are truly grateful for Ms. Ashley’s passion, dedication, and the joy she brings to Franklin Academy! 💙✨

🌟 Teacher Feature: Ms. Janet! 🌟

This week we’re proud to highlight Ms. Janet, the lead teacher in the 2.5–3-year-old classroom and our Summer Camp Administrator. With over 30 years of experience in early childhood education, Ms. Janet brings a wealth of knowledge, warmth, and joy to Franklin Academy each day.

She truly enjoys the laughter and excitement that come from children’s enthusiasm and playfulness and loves the meaningful interactions that happen during both group and individual activities. Music is one of her passions, and it often plays a special role in her classroom.

In her free time, Ms. Janet loves visiting her grandson, spending time outside, and playing ball with her doggos.

We are so grateful for Ms. Janet’s dedication, experience, and the heart she brings to our Franklin family! 💙✨

Ms. Marissa is passionate about continuing her education so she can keep growing as a teacher and provide the best possible support for her students.

When she’s not in the classroom, she enjoys spending her weekends with her family and her pups, recharging and making special memories.
