🌟 Teacher Feature: Ms. Niya! 🌟

This week we’re excited to spotlight Ms. Niya, who has been a valued member of the Franklin Academy team for 3 years. She is the lead teacher in the 3–4-year-old classroom, where she brings enthusiasm, warmth, and a love of learning to her students each day.

Ms. Niya enjoys working at Franklin Academy because of the amazing extracurricular activities offered. She loves watching each child’s curiosity and love of learning continue to grow.

She is currently continuing her education and working toward her master’s degree, demonstrating her strong commitment to personal and professional growth. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Niya enjoys exploring the city with friends, spending quality time with her family, and discovering new places with her kids.

Today’s enrichment was gymnastics, and our little athletes were tumbling, balancing, and showing off their best handstands! 🤸‍♂️💙

This week we’re excited to highlight Ms. Brenna, who has been a cherished part of Franklin Academy for 8 years!

Ms. Brenna played a key role in helping open and establish our infant program, and she now brings her experience and passion to her role as our lead 3-year-old teacher.

She is also a proud Franklin Academy parent—her three children have all attended the academy!

Known for her creativity, Ms. Brenna is incredibly crafty and shares her talents by teaching our Art enrichment, inspiring students to explore their imagination and creativity.

🌟 Teacher Feature: Ms. Tenesia! 🌟

This week we’re proud to highlight Ms. Tenesia, who has been a dedicated part of Franklin Academy for almost three years. She began her journey as an assistant and, with the support of the team and her strong commitment to early childhood education, has grown into our wonderful lead 2-year-old teacher.

Working with toddlers is truly her passion. She loves crafting, sharing music, and playing fun, engaging games that help our little learners grow each day.

Ms. Tenesia is grateful for the path that led her here and is excited to continue creating joyful, meaningful moments in her classroom.

We are so lucky to have her as part of our Franklin family! 💙✨

🌟 Teacher Feature: Mr. Devin! 🌟

This week we’re thrilled to spotlight Mr. Devin, who is proudly approaching his 5-year anniversary with Franklin Academy! He is a teacher in the Infant room.

Mr. Devin is dedicated to making each school day a positive, uplifting experience for every child. He loves greeting all the happy faces each morning and takes pride in playing, connecting, and making each child’s day a little brighter with every interaction.

This year has been especially meaningful, as he and his wife, Meghan, welcomed their baby girl, Avery—who has now joined the Franklin Academy family as well!

Outside of school, Mr. Devin enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on the Red Wings. He’s already introducing Avery to the world of hockey, one game at a time!

🌟 Teacher Feature: Ms. Brooke! 🌟

This week we’re excited to highlight Ms. Brooke, who has been part of the Franklin Academy family for 9 months!

Ms. Brooke loves getting to know each child and discovering their incredible personalities day by day. Her warm, positive energy shines through in everything she does.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and staying dedicated to her schoolwork.

Her favorite part of Franklin Academy so far? Summer fun! She especially loved the outdoor activities and the visiting petting farm, which made the season unforgettable for both teachers and kids.
