On Tuesday, September 29th, scholars, families, building leaders and staff, district leaders, city officials, and distinguished community members gathered to celebrate the momentous occasion of the Levey Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. ✂️

The event featured remarks from Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Martin-Green, Southfield Board President Talisha Belk, Levey Principal Sonia Jackson, a Levey Jaguars parent, and a current Levey Jaguar. They each spoke of what the occasion means for Southfield Public Schools, Levey Middle Schools scholars, and the greater Southfield community. As well as a performance from the world-renowned Levey Jaguars band 🐆

We are so grateful for the dedicated support from Mayor of Southfield Ken Siver, City Council President Charles Hicks, Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, city officials from both Southfield and Lathrup Village, and our local Police and Fire Departments.

Together, we are ushering in the next generation of Levey Jaguars in an environment designed for excellence.✨
