This month’s board meeting was filled with scholars, family, and staff to celebrate and award scholars for their outstanding accomplishments in the District Science Fair, the Spelling Bee, and CTE program completions.
We also announced the new student board representatives for the 2026-2027 school year.
In addition to scholar accomplishments, we acknowledged Principal Deane() and Denise Brown(First Student Bus Driver) as employee and partner of the month, respectively.
As we near the end of the school year, we are proud to continue to highlight the achievements of both our scholars and staff for their hard work and dedication to achieving excellence.

Athletic signing day took place at Southfield A&T last Friday. Students and family gathered to celebrate the achievements of students taking their athletic journey to the collegiate level.
Students Samiya Ashford and Ellis Threadcraft will be attending Madonna University and Adrian College, respectively. Samiya plans to study Sports Management while playing basketball for Madonna. While Ellis plans to study Cybersecurity while playing baseball for Adrian.
We are proud to have them represent the scholar-athletes success within Southfield Public Schools.
