Lawrence Technological University Society of Women Engineers The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is an international organization established in 1950.

SWE advocates and promotes the advancement of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields. The Lawrence Technological University section was chartered in 1981. Our focus and events involve volunteer work and outreach. We often have professional speakers at meetings and team up with other organizations on campus for events.
