Welcome, '01 SCS alum, Megan (Neufeld) Majewski!

Megan has two students at SCS. She will be one of the friendly faces to greet and help you in the Admin Office when you arrive at SCS.

We are devastated to share the loss of '05 SCS alum Mandy (Anderson-Lawwill) Karolkiewicz. Mandy's memories and connections run deep through the SCS community. Please join us in praying for her family and friends.

Congratulations, Dania Harris!

Dania joined her class in 3rd grade. While here, she was busy. She was a part of the Lead and worship teams. Dania was a member of the NHS, participated in several plays and drama showcases, and was on the track team. One of Dania's favorite memories was Senior Trip. She took her first plane ride with friends and loved exploring Universal Studios with them.

Next fall, Dania will attend the University of Michigan to study business with the goal of being the CEO of her own company one day!

Dania, you are going to do great things!

Created during our February Stitching a Story celebration in honor of Black History Month, this community quilt is a tapestry of love, heritage, and belonging. Like the many pieces of a quilt joined into one beautiful whole, each family contributes something precious to our SCS community!

After the event, these squares were lovingly stitched together by a quilting circle of alumni, parents, and grandparents, whose care and craftsmanship transformed individual stories into a shared legacy. Scripture reminds us, “Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect unity” (Colossians 3:14), and this quilt stands as a testament to the beauty that emerges when many hands, hearts, and stories are stitched together in love.

As staff, we love each of the events we get to celebrate our students. But we are also thrilled to celebrate each other.

One way we do that is to nominate and name an Eagle of the Year. It's a peer-to-peer award given to an employee who champions the mission of Southfield Christian School in attitude, performance, and service.

This year, Dan Baughman ('01) was named Eagle of the Year with three incredible Honorable Mentions. Shara Marbry, Euyni Smith, and Lindsay Wolfe ('95) received that distinction.

Class of 2026, we are still celebrating you!

We cannot wait to see what you do and where God takes you. Come back and visit often!

Congratulations, Anna Foote!

Anna has been attending SCS since PreK. Anna has been an important part of each school play and the soccer team. She loves that at SCS, you can form close friendships and relationships with teachers while being encouraged to follow Christ. Here she learned to make Him a part of her everyday life and prioritize my relationship with Him.

Next year, Anna will attend MSU to double major in psychology and Spanish. We cannot wait to see what she does next, and we will miss seeing her in the halls!
