If you missed last month’s Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events and don’t want to wait until July for the next one, you have options! ERG Environmental Services in Livonia is open on weekdays from 9am to 5pm to accept your HHW – without a fee!

Reminder: Grass and leaves should be placed in a paper yard waste bag or trash can labeled with a yard waste sticker. Check locally for guidelines and limitations regarding bundling your branches. Cords, ropes, wires, light strings, plastic bags, bubble wrap, 6-pack rings, clothing, hangers, and garden hoses are considered tanglers – which slow down the equipment and cause downtime for our operators.

This Saturday, May 16th, residents of the RRRASOC communities (Southfield, Farmington Hills, Farmington, Novi, Walled Lake, Wixom, Village of Milford, Milford Township, and South Lyon) have the opportunity to bring their household hazardous waste, e-waste, documents for shredding, and Simple Recycling donations to the Milford Civic Center.
