For more than 16 years, CIS of Detroit has developed partnerships with local and national foundations, corporations, community agencies, service agencies, faith groups, small businesses and other resources to provide high-quality educational and intervention services to Metro Detroit schools and after-school programs. Services range from Whole Services offered to the entire school, Targeted Services provided to small groups of students who demonstrate the same, but possibly less severe, off track indicators (i.e. low self esteem, grief and loss, minor behavior infractions, academic struggles, etc.), and Intensive Services provided to students who display early warning indicators and are most at risk for eventually dropping out of school (i.e. excessive absences, severe academic struggles, and behavior problems). Through a network of powerful partnerships, CIS assists the school in making connections that transform students' lives. The programs facilitated by CIS range from physical and mental health services to conflict resolution and violence prevention; from art and music education to core academic enrichment and financial literacy; and from tutoring and mentoring to service learning.

Wonderful Wednesday!

It’s Not too Late to Support CIS Programs in Metro Detroit!
Tuesday may be over, but there is still time to help us to raise $25,000 in support of kids in our community. Your support will allow CIS of Metropolitan Detroit to provide tutoring, summer programming, field trips, special awards and more. These services help to create a cycle of success for youth who are most in need of our support. Visit our website @ www.cisdetroit.org and click the donate button. Thank you!

Support CIS Programs in Metro Detroit on Tuesday, November 27, 2018!

Please help us to raise $25,000.00 on Tuesday for students (K-12) in our community. Your generous donation will allow CIS of Metropolitan Detroit to provide tutoring, summer programming, field trips, special awards and more. These services help to create a cycle of success for youth who are most in need of our support.

Taking place on November 27, 2018 - Tuesday will harness the power of social media to create a national moment around the holidays dedicated to giving, similar to how Black Friday and Cyber Monday have become days that are, today, synonymous with holiday shopping.

You can make an online donation to support student achievement anytime @ www.cisdetroit.org and press the Donate Button.

Please be sure to share the CIS link with friends and family so that we can reach our goal and continue to make a difference in the lives of young people.
