🎨✨ Creativity was on full display across the state this May at our Art Exploration field trips!

From printmaking and screen printing to clay creations and painting masterpieces, our students and families had the opportunity to explore a variety of artistic experiences unique to each location. 🖌🧱🎨

Thank you to all of our incredible families for making these events such an unforgettable afternoon of creativity, connection, and fun. We loved seeing everyone step outside their comfort zones, share their artistic talents, and create something amazing together!

April was a big month for our school community as students in grades 3–11 showed up and gave their best during State Testing! We know the days were long, schedules were adjusted, and flexibility was key—and we are so grateful for the support, patience, and partnership from our families every step of the way.

A special shoutout to all of our staff for their incredible behind-the-scenes work to make testing run smoothly—you can find our State Testing team and some of our week one teams featured in the photos!

Last month, our school community came together for an unforgettable District-Wide Field Trip to the Henry Ford Museum and the Ford Rouge Factory Tour!

We were thrilled to see so many of our families join us—some even traveling over five hours to be part of the experience. It was truly a special day of connection, exploration, and learning.

Families had the chance to dive into a fascinating Leonardo da Vinci exhibit, along with all the incredible displays that make the museum such a unique place to visit. Over at the factory tour, we discovered some amazing facts—like how a new truck rolls off the assembly line every 53 seconds, and that the Rouge Factory once held a Guinness World Records title for having the largest living roof!

Thank you to everyone who made the trip such a memorable experience—we loved seeing our community come together in such a big way! 🚗✨

✨ 9th Grade Student Spotlight: Nikita ✨

We are so proud to celebrate Nikita, a 9th-grade student, for her outstanding achievements in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards! 🎉

Nikita earned three Gold Keys in Photography, along with two Gold Keys and five Honorable Mentions in Writing at the state level for the 2026 awards—an incredible accomplishment that showcases both her artistic talent and dedication to her craft.

Through the flexibility of online learning, Nikita has been able to balance her academic studies while continuing to grow creatively across multiple subjects. We’re grateful for the passion, hard work, and perseverance she brings to her learning journey.
