Join author Renee Tadey as she presents the history of Detroit's Polynesian Palaces & Tropical Cocktails!
When the South Sea craze swept over the nation in the mid-twentieth century, the wave of island-themed decor and tropical cocktails came to Detroit. Did you know that at the time of its completion in 1967, the Mauna Loa was the most expensive restaurant east of the Mississippi?
The Zoom presentation will last about one hour, and then we will have time for your questions.
