Miss Voluptuous America title goes to Warren woman Warren resident Amanda Sweet was named Miss Voluptuous America last month in Nashville.

We had such a lively conversation about Mila Zuo's brilliant short horror film Carnal Orient in Intro to Film class today! It works beautifully after discussions of the (refusal of the) "male gaze" in Hitchcock films and Cleo from 5 to 7, and next week we'll continue to discuss the Orientalist gaze in Get Out!
