Two days in, and we are LOVING it!

Mrs. Sovey met with the Class of 2034—our 5th graders!—to talk about leadership, expectations, and making the most of their final year at McDeeds Creek. Recess has been filled with ping pong, soccer, kickball, and sunshine, while the classrooms have been filled with relationship building, strategy, read-alouds, collaboration, laughter, and LOTS of learning!

Back Together Again!

There’s just something special about being back together!

Today was filled with laughter, excitement, hugs, and so many happy reunions as our McDeeds Creek family came back together for another year. The energy was contagious, and it was a beautiful reminder that the people are what make this place so special.

We’re ready. We’re excited. Here’s to an incredible year, Bulls!

What a fantastic night! ❤️💙 Our MCES Bulls had the best time getting together as a Bull family to cheer on the Durham Bulls!

Nothing better than a little baseball, lots of laughs, and spending time together before we kick off another incredible school year. ⚾
