📅 Save the Date: Free Developmental Screenings

Moore County Schools’ Preschool Assessment Team will offer FREE developmental screenings for children ages 3-5 throughout the 2026-2027 school year. These screenings are open to families throughout Moore County.

Developmental screenings can help identify areas where a child may benefit from additional support, including cognitive development, communication, motor skills and adaptive skills.

📍 Upcoming Screening Dates:
• September 28 - Southern Pines Elementary School
• October 26 - Robbins Elementary School
• December 7 - Vass-Lakeview Elementary School
• February 2 - West End Elementary School
• March 22 - Aberdeen Elementary School

⏰ Screenings will be available from 8-11 a.m. Please arrive by 10:30 a.m. to allow enough time for the screening.

👀 Take a peek through the photos and let us know if you spot something that belongs to your child. You can pick up your items during your next visit or pop on in anytime during regular business hours.

🗓️ Important Reminder: Any items not picked up by the end of this week will be donated or disposed of to make room for the next round of “How did THAT get left behind?!” 😆

It is not yet fall, the daycare should not have fall decorations yet- so please no one encourage her. It is summer until September and no one is changing my mind. Not even those Halloween decorations I saw at Tractor Supply today!
