For nearly 50 years, Sandhills Children's Center has been committed to helping children reach their fullest potential through education, therapy, and family support services.

This honor belongs to our dedicated staff, generous donors, volunteers, community partners, and the families who inspire our work every day. Thank you for helping us create brighter futures for children in our community.

What a wonderful Tuesday evening at the Sandhills Children's Center's Annual Fall Festival! 🍂🎃

Our students and families enjoyed pizza, explored great reads at our Scholastic Book Fair, climbed aboard the Play Mobile from Partners for Children and Families, and got an up-close look at a real fire truck courtesy of the Southern Pines Fire & Rescue. Each classroom also hosted a fun fall-themed game or activity, creating smiles and memories throughout the Center.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to our community partners who helped make the evening so special. We love opportunities like these to bring our Center families together!

📖✨ Nothing brings people together quite like books, breakfast, and community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this morning's Family Breakfast to kick off our Scholastic Book Fair. We are especially grateful to our dedicated volunteers, whose support helped create a fun and memorable event for our children and families.

The Book Fair will remain open to Sandhills Children's Center families through November 8, giving students plenty of opportunities to discover new stories, spark their imaginations, and build a love of reading. 📚🥰

There's nothing quite like experiencing our mission in action. ♥

There's nothing quite like experiencing our mission in action. We loved sharing our classrooms, introducing you to our incredible staff, and giving you a glimpse of the life-changing work that happens here every day.

Visits like these help connect the impact of community giving to the children and families who benefit from it most.

Clays for Kids 2026

We’re getting closer to Clays for Kids, and we need your help to make sure this year’s event can happen!

Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who showed extraordinary courage and compassion.

Today, we honor those who served, those who sacrificed, and the everyday heroes who continue to care for and protect others.
