This past weekend the DSEA Aspiring Educators leaders had the opportunity to attend the first ever 2019 Zone 1 Regional Aspiring Educators Conference in Southbury, Connecticut. Our leaders got to experience great professional development sessions. We even had the aspiring educators Chair make an appearance! DSEA Aspiring Educator leaders had the great pleasure of attending the first ever NEA 2019 Aspiring Educators: Leaders and Organizers Convening at NEA HQ. DSEA Aspiring Educators President Homar Rodriguez, was apart of the DREAMer panel last night in St. Louis, Missouri for the NEA Joint Ethnic Conference. This conference is the first of its kind with 4 different caucuses. What an honor it is for the facilitator to be none other than the fearless leader and president of the NEA Lily Eskelsen Garcia! Homar even got a picture with her before the panel. @ Lumiere Place Casino & Hotels
