Departure Day for our Academic Adventures and English Immersion students was a memorable blend of reflection, movie magic, and creative celebration! Students kicked off the morning signing camp yearbooks before diving into a Smithsonian virtual field trip, an interactive trivia challenge, and a screening of Night at the Museum 2: The Smithsonian Battle.

A major highlight of the day was welcoming guest speaker Ian Townsend, the animator for the film Night at the Museum 2: The Smithsonian Battle. During an inspiring Q&A session, Mr. Townsend shared his professional reel with the students. He also gave everyone an exciting insider's look into his life living and working in Hollywood!

As our 2026 overnight programs come to a close, we want to send a huge THANK YOU to every single Academic Adventures and English Immersion camper who joined us!

Over the past few weeks, we’ve watched them grow into creative thinkers, supportive teammates, and confident, compassionate leaders—all while building friendships that will last a lifetime.
