Southampton High School ENL students recently experienced the magic of live theater during a field trip to see the Broadway musical “Wicked.” The 42 students, many of whom were seeing a live theatrical production for the first time, were captivated by the show’s storytelling, music and staging. The district extends its appreciation to the Southampton Teachers Association, the Southampton Education Foundation and the Southampton Rotary Club for their support of the enriching educational experience.

The Southampton Education Foundation was honored to help support a grant recipient and student of the Southampton High School, Lauren Heaney, to have the opportunity to attend a congressional session on the va**ng epidemic among youth today. She is the founding member of the SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) club and already making a big impact in the world with her work in advocating for her peers in relationship to the va**ng crisis.

Lauren Heaney, a Southampton High School Student and one of the founding members of the SADD club (Students Against Destruction Decisions), attended a very important Youth Summit in Washington, DC with several students and principals. She was able to attend this very important forum due

The Southampton Education Foundation is excited to offer an opportunity for you to inscribe a brick at the Southampton Elementary School, Intermediate School or High School this year!!!

Would you like to dedicate a brick to a graduating student or students or to a teacher who has impacted your child in a positive way? Is your son or daughter graduating this year from 4th, 8th, or 12th? Be sure to recognize them in a memorable way and inscribe a brick forever.

Please go to www.southamptonef.org to place your order today or fill out the form shown here and bring the form and $50 to the main office in the building of your choice.

All orders are due by April 30th, 2018 so that the bricks can be inscribed for Graduation of 2018.

Thank you to all who came out on Friday night in stormy weather to support the Southampton Education School and enjoy our Salsa Night with of the Hamptons ! We appreciate every one of you for your continued support and we had a great evening with all of you!!! Thank you goes out to Union Cantina for having us there the event and for the amazing food and drinks!! Also, thanks go out to Oscar Gonzalez Zumba Hamptons!! What an exciting evening of Salsa dancing! We also would like to thank all the generous donors for making a contribution to our Silent and Chinese Auctions.
