The Butterfly House at Churchville Nature Center

The Butterfly House at Churchville Nature Center We are a native butterfly house and botanical garden in Bucks County, Pennsylvania that focuses on education. Hours: 11-3 Tuesday-Sunday July to September.

We only breed native butterflies through a Catch-Breed-Release Program. Last tickets sold at 2:30. Our 2023 Season will run July 1st to September 23rd, with standard hours of operation running 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Current FoCNC Members gain free access to the exhibit. There is a fee for non-members to help us support the program and our butterfly rearing projects. Location: Churchville Nature Cent

The nature center's visitor center is open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm. Trails, Wildflower Garden and Natural Playground are open from sun up to sundown daily.

The newest addition to the house! Come by this week to see this beautiful Giant Swallowtail in the house this week. The house is open 11am-3pm Tues-Sun with the last tickets sold at 2:30pm.

Fun Fact: The giant swallowtail (Papilio cresphontes) is the largest butterfly in North America.
