Thank you Nurse Shimkus for your love and care for the students, faculty, and families of OLH over the past 21 years. Your dedication, support, faith, and compassion has never gone unnoticed and has left a lasting impact on all who have had the privilege to know you. STUDENT SPOTLIGHT!

CONGRATULATIONS TO DECLAN!

Declan will be attending Bridgehampton High School next year!

Declan has been at OLH since sixth grade and participated in several activities including science fairs and the OLH Christmas shows. This year, he took second place in the Prep Science Fair! He was also a featured speaker at this year’s Seder Meal. Outside of school, Declan enjoys whittling, and has learned how to carve multiple animals including fox and ducks. Declan is a member of the National Junior Honor Society. Some of his favorite OLH memories include finding out he got into Regents Biology, eighth grade nights, and Mole Nights. He has grown to be a responsible, kind, and motivated young man. We are all so proud of you!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ELLA!

Ella will be attending Westhampton Beach High School next year!

Ella has been at OLH since fourth grade and participated in several activities including tap, the Tap Competition team, Hamptones, cello, ballet, Student Council, science fairs, the OLH Christmas show, and the OLH Spring shows. As a member of the Tap Competition team, Ella has received several awards, including placing second in her division and tenth overall, as well as winning the Most Athletic Studio Award. This year, Ella was a featured speaker during the annual Seder Meal. Outside of school, Ella is involved with tumbling and gymnastics and trains in Westhampton. Some of Ella’s favorite OLH memories include the fifth grade field trip to the Vanderbilt Museum and Planetarium, the Prep retreats, and the eighth grade trip to Washington D.C. She has grown to be a supportive, courageous, and resilient young lady. We are all so proud of you!

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT!

CONGRATULATIONS TO MASSIEL!

Massiel will be attending St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School next year!

Massiel has been at OLH since second grade, and participated in numerous activities, including drama, tap, jazz, ballet, the Tap Competition team, Art Club, the CMSAA Girls Cross Country team, the CMSAA Co-ed Volleyball team, the CMSAA Girls Volleyball team, science fairs, the OLH Christmas shows, and the OLH Spring show. This year, Massiel portrayed the role of Mary in the Nativity of the OLH Christmas show. Massiel was also the co-captain of the CMSAA Co-ed Volleyball team this year. With the Tap Competition team, Massiel has competed in several regional and national competitions. At this year’s Tap Competition, Massiel scored first place overall on her tap duet and her group dance! Last year, her group took first place overall at the Step Up 2 Dance Nationals in New Hampshire! Outside of school, Massiel has been a part of karate, cheerleading, and soccer. She currently participates in gymnastics and ballet at Hampton Gymnastics East in Southampton. Last month, at the state gymnastics competition in Brentwood, she won the overall title for her division! Her favorite OLH memories include Santa Breakfasts, eighth grade nights, and the eighth grade trip to Washington D.C. She has grown to be a happy, fun, and unique young lady. We are all so proud of you!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️CONGRATULATIONS TO PARKER!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Parker will be attending Southampton High School next year!

Parker has been at OLH since sixth grade and has been a part of several activities including experienced band, Tech Crew, science fairs, and the OLH Christmas shows. As a member of Tech Crew, Parker has been responsible for lighting, sound, and photography for school plays, presentations, and events. Outside of school, Parker enjoys several artistic hobbies including sketching and photography. He also enjoys music and plays the drums. His favorite OLH memories are having the opportunity to take official pictures for school events, liturgies, plays, competitions, and other presentations and the eighth grade trip to Washington D.C. He has grown to be a creative, artistic, and humorous young man. We are all so proud of you!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️CONGRATULATIONS TO NATHAN! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nathan will be attending Westhampton Beach High School next year!

Nathan has been at OLH since first grade and has participated in many activities throughout the years including the CMSAA Boys Basketball team, the CMSAA Co-ed Volleyball team, orchestra, Tech Crew, HPAY, science fair, the OLH Christmas shows, and the OLH spring shows. Nathan was a member of the undefeated CMSAA Boys Basketball team this year! He also plays cello in the school orchestra and has competed at NYSMMA. Outside of school, he is a member of the Long Island Slammers in St. James. He has been a part of the Long Island Classic winning U14 2012 Boys team, and has competed at the IMG Tournament in Florida, where, as a goalkeeper, he averaged nine saves per game. Some of his favorite OLH memories include field day the eighth grade trip to Washington D.C. He has grown to be an athletic, competitive, and laidback young man. We are all so proud of you!

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT!

CONGRATULATIONS TO MARTIN!

Martin will be attending Canterbury School in New Milford, CT next year!

Martin became a part of the OLH Class of 2026 this year for eighth grade and became involved right away in several activities including the CMSAA Co-ed Volleyball team where he was named co-captain, the science bee, the science fair, the OLH Christmas show, and the OLH spring show. Martin was also featured as a dancer in this year’s Spring show. Martin also won third place in the science bee this year! Outside of school, Martin is actively involved with several travel hockey programs. While living in California, Martin played for the AA CA Bears, where he competed in and won the Gothenburg IS hockey tournament in Sweden and several other major tournaments. This year, he played with the AAA LI Royals where he made the state playoffs. Martin also played for the Southampton Whalers hockey team, where he scored the most points in the freshman division this season with the SCHSHL, and his team made the playoffs. He is also a junior lifeguard, winning several competitions in lifeguarding competitions in East Hampton the past two summers. Martin is a member of the National Junior Honor Society. Some of his favorite OLH memories include being a part of the co-ed volleyball team, the OLH Christmas show, and winning eighth grade night. He has shown himself to be a versatile, outgoing, and tenacious young man. We are all so proud of you!
