ry for academic success. If students want a class we do not offer in our school, they can take the course online through the Cape’s largest Virtual High School program. Our 8th Grade Early High School program has experienced tremendous success with its emphasis on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). We offer many electives including technology classes, a strong art program, and a first class music program. Students can balance classroom academics with work-based learning internships in the community so they can see how their knowledge is put into use in a real world setting. Sports teams, clubs and many other after school activities help round out the D-Y experience. Come to D-Y for a great educational experience. We will help you achieve your dreams. Go Dolphins!

It's time to register for fall sports!

Any student interested in playing a fall sport must register through ArbiterSports at https://students.arbitersports.com/organizations/dennis-yarmouth

Fall sports include:

Cheerleading

Cross Country (boys)

Cross Country (girls)

Field Hockey

Football

Golf (boys)

Soccer (boys)

Soccer (girls)

Unified Basketball

Volleyball

All athletes must have a current physical examination on file in order to participate. Physicals are valid for 13 months from the date of the exam. Once a physical is more than 13 months old, the student-athlete is no longer eligible to participate until an updated physical is submitted.

Registration Deadline: Tuesday, August 18, 2026

Dear Dolphin Dash and DYRHS Supporter,

Save the Date! Our 2026 Dolphin Dash 5K Road Race is set for Saturday October 3, 2026! The Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School and the Cape Cod Foundation are thrilled to present this year’s Dolphin Dash 5K Run/Walk, starting at 10:00 AM at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School.

This year, we’re expanding the event to include even more family-friendly fun! In addition to the race, we’ll host a craft fair, food trucks, and a variety of activities for younger children, including a fun run. These additions promise to make the Dolphin Dash a true community celebration.

Supporting Our Students All proceeds from the Dolphin Dash will go directly towards reducing student user fees for Dennis-Yarmouth High School athletes and marching band members. Your generous contributions have played a pivotal role in our past successes, and we’re deeply grateful for your continued support.
