What a fun afternoon we had a few weeks ago with Carly's Critters petting zoo! We were able to pet and hold different animals such as baby ducks, chicks, bunnies, an iguana, and guinea pigs! She also brought two baby goats named Hazel and Jade!

A big thank you to Dan Bowen for the awesome magic show he put on for the Kindergarten Club on Tuesday! We had such a blast trying to figure out how the slot made it from the bag to the can and thought Chico was hilarious! The highlight of the show was the floating table!

"Kindergarten Club" is underway here at SWCDC! The kiddos heading off to kindergarten in the fall are having a blast with sprinkler play, cooking with Ms. Colleen, and lots of fun activities! Ms. Sarah came to visit and read a bunch of stories and they even created a logo for their club!

Last week, SWCDC welcomed beekeepers Ms. Deb and Ms. Nina to the program! They talked about their job as a beekeeper and what they need to do to keep themselves safe as well as the bees. We got to see real honeycomb, the equipment they use, and the clothes they wear! We even got a bee that we got to pretend to pollenate flowers with the bees they gave us!
