Today we celebrated our preschool graduation, and what a special day it was! It is so hard to believe that all these children started with us as either infants or toddlers and are now heading into kindergarten!! Watching them grow over the years has been such a joy, and we are incredibly grateful to their families for trusting us to be part of so many of their earliest milestones!

We are so proud of how far they’ve all come through learning, friendships, and so many big moments along the way. After graduation, we continued the celebration at our annual Ice Cream Social! Thank you as always to the Kings for bringing their famous bounce house!!

Congratulations to all of our graduates! We are so proud of each and every one of you and cannot wait to see all the amazing things you will do next. 🎓🍦❤️

We’re so excited to officially announce that our expansion at Grammy’s Garden Learning Center is COMPLETE! 🌿✨

After many months of planning, building, and dreaming, our new classrooms and expanded spaces are ready and we are NOW ENROLLING!

Our expansion allows us to welcome more families into our warm, nurturing, home-away-from-home environment while continuing to provide the individualized care and play-based learning experience we’re known for.

Happy Friday!! 🌷🌸
Our garden has officially started again for the year! Today the children planted cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, green beans, and flowers in their tiny starter pots. The kids did a great job carefully planting their seeds while learning about how plants grow and what they need to thrive. Once the seeds sprout, we will transfer them into our garden beds and continue watching them grow together🌱

This week the children explored snow as a hands on sensory activity, engaging their senses through touch, sight, and play. They scooped, packed, and observed the snow, noticing its cold temperature, soft texture, and how it changed as they handled it. This activity encouraged curiosity, fine motor development, and language skills as the children described what they felt and saw. Using snow also provided a fun way to connect with nature and support early science concepts such as temperature, texture, and cause and effect! ❄️

This week, the kids sent off their letters to Santa, and the excitement in the classroom was magical. 🎅📬
We can’t wait to see what we hear back, the holidays are officially in full swing! ❤️🎄

During Pet week, we took our classroom pets outside for a little walk to enjoy the fresh air and explore nature together! Activities like this let the children observe, engage, and learn in a hands-on way. The kids had such a great time connecting with their furry friends and the outdoors! 🐾

Last week, we had an amazing time celebrating our annual Halloween Center Party! 🎃 Thank you to all the families who joined us and helped make it such a fun and memorable event. The children kicked things off with a festive costume parade, proudly showing off their creative outfits for everyone to see! Afterward, they had a blast exploring our creepy slime and spooky spaghetti sensory bins, painting pumpkins, enjoying face painting and of course some sweet Halloween treats! It was such a joy to see all the smiles and laughter throughout the day, we can’t wait to do it all again next year! 👻🧡

A huge thank you to Officer Peggy from the South Windsor Police Department for joining us this week as part of Community Helpers Week!

The children had such a wonderful time learning about the important role police officers play in keeping our community safe. Officer Peggy took the time to answer their questions, explain what her job is like, and even show them some of the tools she uses every day!

One of the highlights for the kids was getting the chance to explore the police car up close. Their faces lit up with curiosity and excitement, and it gave them a special, hands on way to connect with what they were learning.

We are so grateful for Officer Peggy’s kindness, patience, and dedication to making this such a memorable experience for our students. Visits like this not only teach our children about the helpers in their community, but also build trust and respect for the people who work so hard to keep us safe.

Thank you again, Officer Peggy, for making such a positive impact on our kids this week! 🚓💙

Our garden is thriving this year, and it’s been such a joy to see the kids staying involved, watering regularly and picking whatever’s ripe! Everything seems to be growing beautifully, and while we haven’t gotten any cucumbers yet, that might be due to how incredibly well our zucchini plant has taken off! It’s taken over quite a bit of space, but we still have some time so hopefully we’ll see some cucumbers over the next few weeks! 🍅🥒

Last week, we celebrated our annual Graduation and Ice Cream Social, and what a wonderful time it was! 🎓🍦 We are incredibly proud of our graduates and all they’ve accomplished during their time here.

A heartfelt thank you to all the families who joined us, you made the day even more special! And a huge shoutout to the Kings for generously lending us their bounce house once again. It’s always a favorite and such a hit with the kids!
