We believe in providing the finest quality childcare and education in an environment where children and families can learn, play and feel safe and connected. Your World will offer the finest early childhood care and education in the Weymouth area by providing a nurturing, stimulating, supportive and safe environment. Our goal is to provide our students a creative and educationally innovative environment within a secure and spotless facility. We will take every measure to provide an environment that is safe and healthy, both inside and out. Your World will provide daily childcare services for infants, toddlers, and preschool age children. Services will include age-appropriate educational curriculum, games, activities and learning programs in a structured environment. Snacks will be provided daily Monday through Friday. The hours of operations will be Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. Both owners are well experienced in the Child Care field after having worked in the field for multiple years. Laura has had additional experience in Early Intervention, which will benefit families who may be struggling with developmental delays. Both Laura and Sarah have high expectations for how not only a childcare center should be run but also how a business should be run. They both exhibit and expect their staff to exhibit top of the line professionalism. Your World Child Care will hold low ratios. Within the first three to six months Sarah and Laura plan on renovating the playground further. We believe with our mission and our vision that Your World is the best choice for parents in the area and surrounding communities. The right preschool and children's center is a critical choice for parents. Our program makes the right choice easy for parents. We have developed a comprehensive childcare and child development program that also offers maximum support and value for the children and their family. We offer infant, toddler, and preschool programs year ‘round. The first years of a child’s life are critical in terms of emotional growth, social skills, communication, intellectual awareness, and physical capability. Our program at Your World has been designed to nurture the full range of these developing skills and interests in a small group setting. Your World encourages a lifelong love of learning. In our welcoming atmosphere, caring teachers support the active development of our students through an equal balance of play and learning experiences. We are committed to providing excellent care and working closely with our parent families to help their children grow. Experts in early childhood education, nutrition, and child psychology continually update and improve our students’ daily program. Our carefully planned daily schedules bring learning to life for our students. Each child’s day includes personal attention, gentle guidance and developmentally appropriate activities, including reading, math, science, art, computer, creative movement and problem-solving challenges. Special opportunities in the arts and music provide our students the chance to expand their horizons and explore their talents. All of Your World staff are carefully screened and trained to assure that the children in our program receive the finest care and consideration. Our low student/teacher ratio means each student receives personal attention throughout the day. The center’s Directors are always on-site and available to discuss each child's progress with parents. We are licensed by the State of Massachusetts and follow all policies and guidelines as they adhere to the state to measure the quality of our program. We conduct progress reports and screenings based on the age group periodically as required by the Massachusetts regulations. We also complete additional screenings and help families make referrals to outside agencies as needed. Staff Members are also required to attend monthly staff meetings to maintain communication and quality care. Staff Members are required to complete professional development throughout the year to further their practice; these are reviewed on a regular basis.
