Not only does painting help build fine motor skills but they are also building communication skills, using their imagination, recognizing colors, building concentration, problem solving etc…

I absolutely love my job. I don’t wake up dreading my day because I love my littles so much. So seeing their smiling faces at my door each morning brings me so much joy. I poor my heart into these children and want to make sure they are all ready for that big step when it’s time for them to leave me and head to school. But that is the hardest part of this job too. My little friend said goodbye today and was in tears. Took a lot for me not to join her. Tears were certainly shed once I was alone and I read the book she gave me. I hope all my preschoolers have a wonderful year. I will miss all of you!
