✨ Student Spotlight: Alex Martinez ✨

This week’s Student Spotlight is Alex Martinez! 🎹🥁🎶

Alex is an upcoming 7th grader who has been taking piano lessons with me for 2½ years, and I couldn’t be prouder of his growth as a musician.

He recently completed the second book in Alfred’s Basic Piano Library, after successfully passing Book 1A just a few months ago! Watching him continue to progress through the series has been so rewarding.

Outside of piano, Alex plays percussion in band and will be a member of Honor Choir this school year. One of his greatest musical strengths is his incredible ear for music. He has a natural ability to recognize and memorize tones, allowing him to learn music quickly and confidently.

Alex’s dedication, consistency, and passion for music are evident in every lesson. He shows up ready to learn, works hard, and continues to challenge himself—and it truly shows.

Happy belated 12th birthday, Alex! 🎉 I’m so proud of all you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what this next year brings. Keep making music and never stop believing in your talent!

• Monday: 3:45–5:15 PM
• Tuesday: 3:45–5:15 PM

• Every other Friday: 3:30–4:30 PM
• Every other Saturday: 9:00–11:00 AM

So proud of Camila and all the progress she’s making! 🎸✨

Camila takes both guitar and voice lessons with me, and it’s been so exciting to watch her confidence grow. She’s doing an amazing job learning how to read guitar tabs, play chords, and connect everything together. Every lesson she comes in ready to learn, and her hard work is really paying off.

Keep it up, Camila! I can’t wait to see how much more you accomplish. So proud of you! 💛🎶
