The weekend of July 24/25, 2021 looks to be the preferred timing of our belated 20th reunion. For those planning on attending, please feel free to suggest ideas and organize events. Please also note any COVID-related restrictions/suggestions/guidance (times, masks, distancing, etc.) for attendees to be aware of. (As a side note, there is a chance it may fall on the SSC all-class reunion, so if interested, that may be something to look into.)

There as been interest in having our 20 year (close enough) reunion at the end of July. For those interested in attending would July 24/25 or July 31/Aug 1 work best?

Update: COVID-pending, it looks like SSC homecoming is planned for September 18, 2020 (according to the high school's calendar). If we have a good number of people leaning towards a reunion for fall, we may want to wait until July to schedule anything. Right now Dakota County is one of the top counties in the US for cases per person (low numerically, but high proportionately). Working in education right now, I know there are a number of discussions regarding fall start dates, activities, classroom procedures, sporting events, etc. across districts. Given Dakota County's high rate combined with (what I am assuming to be) up-in-the-air fall event plans. We can wait and see if fall (be it homecoming or another home game later in Oct.) is an option, or just go ahead and plan for summer 2021. Thoughts?

Hello All, Given the unique circumstances that COVID-19 has created, especially regarding travel. I would suggest one of the following two options.

1. Postpone our reunion to SSC's 2020 Homecoming, which I am assuming is late Sept./early Oct.

2. Postpone our reunion to summer 2021.

Thoughts?

Results are in, 14 to 9: We will plan on having our 20th reunion the weekend of July 24-26. We will need volunteers to take charge to reserve and plan events. If anyone has suggestions on ideas and/or would like to volunteer to organize said events, please note such in the comments.
