Bill Grossman's School of Kenpo Karate is a qualified school of the Kenpo Karate System, the American martial art which is based upon the best overall aspects of Asian martial systems. Besides practical self defense, hand and weapons form training, we also offer health and fitness conditioning, competition and sparring training.

The Dojo will be closed today, Monday August 31st for SGM Rick Alemeny Vigil.

Classes will resume tomorrow, Tuesday September 1st.

Thank you for your understanding and we will see everyone in class tomorrow.

The Dojo would be greatful if our students, past and present, would attend SGM Vigil on Monday August 31 at 5pm to 7pm at Holy Cross Cemetery & Funeral Center 2200 East 18th St. Antioch, CA 94509

We also are taking donations at the dojo if you would like to contribute to help the Alemeny Family with the expenses.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news of the passing of our instructor SGM Rick Alemany. 8/18/1938 - 8/17/2026

The following is the information on his funeral services.
Holy Cross Cemetery & Funeral Center
2200 East 18th St.
Antioch, CA 94509

August 31st Visitation/Viewing at 5pm
7pm Vigal and 1st blessing

Funeral services: September 1st at 10am wake/visitation

12pm Mass to follow

We will have a reception at Holy Cross Cemetery & Funeral Center. It will be held right next to the chapel where the funeral services will be held.

The children of SGM Alemany will be setting up a Go Fund Me Page if anyone would like to make a donation for funeral expenses and for Simu Margaret. I will post that here once it is up.

There will also be a donation box and card at our dojo for those that would like to make a donation via cash or check. Any funds collected will be given directly to the family.
